I know I can’t be the only one who walks through the grocery store and buys something that isn’t on my list. The other day I was walking through Trader Joe’s and I couldn’t help but notice all the pumpkin flavored treats that they had displayed. Usually I skip right past this section because I’m not always a huge fan of pumpkin flavored anything (sorry PSL lovers). However I was intrigued by the drinks display and decided to pick up a 6 pack of The Gourd Tree Pumpkin Cider to bring home and try.
Usually I am not a cider fan as they are generally on the sweeter side, which I don’t like when it comes to my alcoholic beverages. Plus, I tend to stick to wine, beer, or the occasional fun cocktail. Yet something about this pumpkin cider caught my attention. Looking back now it was probably the fun label with Jack-O-Lanterns on it.
As soon as I got home I tried one and instantly knew that I had made the right choice to grab them on the way to the checkout line. The cider is DELICIOUS! It is the right balance between apple cider and pumpkin spice. If you think about the fall and curling up on the couch with a good book, this cider is that in a glass! Comfort with a little bit of pumpkin spice!

I love ciders. Not sure about pumpkin flavored? Maybe I will try the pumpkin cider since you don’t like PSL ( I don’t either) I just might give it a try. Thanks
